This proposed boarding house is located in a R3 zone which is in a transition from low to high density residential. It is close to public transport and supporting facilities and provides for more than 20 high standard short-term accommodation units with basement parking and common facilities.
The site is narrow in frontage and long in dept, plus it is surrounded by mutual development projects. The challenge here is to find the architectural form that complements the streetscape while maintaining a good level of amenity within the development.
