Located 1km from the centre of Chatswood in Sydney’s north, this project aims to produce a high-end luxury contemporary development. The design of this private residence emphasises the relationship of two internal levels, and the interior and exterior. The home comprises five bedrooms on the upper level, a double garage at the front plus a BBQ area and a swimming pool at the rear.
Besides building design, the project pays the same attention to site condition and orientation. A couple of existing trees at the front and rear, and a water service line crossing the back of the site limited the potential of development in the early stages. Due to well thought-out analyses and strong communication with local authorities and consultants, an open street front and private backyard with pool and landscaping was achieved.
