Located south of Sydney on the northern of the Renown Creek and the Georges River, the family house enjoy dramatic convenience to access the Oatley Station, Mortdale Station and the Mortdale Public School. The house has been sited on a gentle slope. A French style house contains a double garage, a double-height foyer with feature crystal pendant light, spacious living space and 4 bedrooms above with a garden shed at the rear.

Linear French windows and doors with dark mullions and balustrades are presented at the frontage and the rear symmetrically. With a dark pitch roof and 1.2m parapet wall, it brings the French style back to modern Sydney. As the same style as the main building, a 8sqm garden shed has also been designed delicately.

On the ground floor, when entering the house, a double-height foyer with feature light shows a welcome gesture to tenants. Morning sunlight floods into the central corridor through central courtyard. Passed by north-facing study room and a spacious bath & laundry room, 5m Kitchen with island bench belongs to those gourmet food makers. The north-facing barbeque area is connected with kitchen through a services window. Combined living and dining area are more than 9m long, which creates a various possibilities and wonderful lifestyles.

On the first floor, 4 bedrooms with a 3m long rumpus room provide tenants a peaceful and comfortable spaces for resting and sleeping. Redundant long corridor is avoided in this design. Instead, the efficient internal layout with enough storage and linen shelves shows the key aspect of the design.

The Hurstville House is under design coordination and the CDC is aimed to be approved at the end of 2020.
