Ruby Turramurra is situated in an ideal location right next to the heart of Turramurra, and tucked away behind the highway with a prime corner aspect and easy access to the supermarket.
The site was challenging in its physical nature, being a small land parcel and two different street levels. Moreover, it was required to accommodate both retail on the ground floor and residential units on upper level. This mixed-use programme adds another level of complexity to the design.
Enhance Project was engaged to provide both architectural and project management services. We took advantage of the uneven contour around the corner to create an interesting narrative path and addressed facade in a way that it opens up to both streets. The building showcases the great architectural character and features two carefully positioned retail outlets and 19 apartments units above.
